My career began in product design, before moving into marketing of high-design furniture with Marcatre, Cassina, and Knoll, and later into creative search consultancy, working closely with many of the world’s most celebrated architects and luxury yacht designers, including Bannenberg & Rowell Design and Winch Design.
My perspective of great architecture changed when I was invited to work on the Houses at Sagaponac in the Hamptons. I realised an important difference, that an architect designed house can lift the soul to another level, while also acting as a personal expression and self portrait of its owner. While some names are well known, most of the talented architects and designers are not widely visible, recognised primarily within a small culturally literate audience. Yet their capabilities are extraordinary.
Over many years, I have travelled extensively to meet these architects and designers in person, building relationships with more than 800 leading studios across architecture, as well as landscape, interior, furniture, and yacht design, including practices such as Shigeru Ban-Architects, Thomas Phifer and Partners, Steven Holl Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects, Rogers Stirk & Harbour, Studio Arthur Casas, Camilo Rebelo, Liaigre and Remi Tessier.
My work today is driven by commitment: to afford clients with vision an unparalleled access to the exceptional international creative minds capable of helping them realise their dream yacht or architect designed home.
