Cortina House

Cortina House explores a fluid relationship between interior and exterior through a composition of simple rectilinear volumes and a sweeping surface of perforated metal and cast fair faced concrete. These two elements create a refined dialogue, one rational and ordered, the other dynamic and sculptural, shaping a sequence that moves seamlessly from entry to pool.

Arrival is marked by a curving canopy that intersects the primary volume to form a sheltered carport and welcoming threshold. Inside, spaces unfold across levels with natural light drawn deep into the plan through a central skylight. The undulating surface defines two of the home’s most dramatic rooms, forming a sculpted ceiling over the kitchen and living areas before rising to become a vertical “curtain” at the rear.

Above, a private master suite opens to expansive views and connects by bridge to a generous roof deck set above the living space, completing the home’s flowing spatial journey.
