Pantheon House by IMaestri Group: Concept house with dramatic circular, domed rooms and glazed oculi, inspired by the Roman Pantheon.

Pantheon House

Pantheon House takes its inspiration from the Pantheon in Rome, and explores the concept of circular rooms linked together, each with a glazed oculus in the centre of the roof, which can be opened on warmer days.

The large volumes of each circular canopy create dramatic and grand living spaces of various different scales, and this ensemble of domes is strongly rooted in historical meaning. The experience of living within multiple domed spaces gives the owner an opportunity to live in a modern structure with classical inspiration and proportion.

The architect, Philip Johnson was the first Pritzker Prize Laureate in the world of architecture and was known for his iconic buildings throughout the world. It is very seldom that one has the opportunity to own a house as a work of art by such a celebrated and renowned architect, and we are fortunate to work with Johnson’s long time business partner Alan Ritchie in this regard on this exciting concept house along with two other inspiring and iconic designs. The inspiration and comfort that this house will provide its owners cannot be overstated. We are working with the architect to create up to ten variations of this wonderful house design from 300 m² to over 1,000 m², each with different height domes and some areas with flat roofs possibly constructed in different materials.
